What is your job at AppFolio?
I am the Director of Customer Success. I manage the team that is providing the front line support for our customers. I work with my team to make sure they are knowledgeable about the AppFolio software and are providing the best support that they can for all of our customers and their needs.

How long have you been at AppFolio?
I’ve been at AppFolio now for almost four years… and it’s been absolutely great!

What’s most gratifying about your position?
I would have to say the overwhelming positive feedback we get from customers and the fact that we are impacting their business in a positive way each and every day.

Will your department continue to grow?
Absolutely. Our department will continue to grow, right along with AppFolio.

What do you like about working at AppFolio?
I love the people – that’s the best part about working at AppFolio.

How long have you been in Santa Barbara?
I’ve been in Santa Barbara almost 20 years – I love it here! I grew up in Hawaii and was drawn to Santa Barbara to go to school at UCSB then was lucky enough to stay here after school.

What do you like to do on the weekend?
There is so much to do in Santa Barbara. I like to hike, snowboard and stand up paddleboard, I also love traveling…in fact, my wife and I are planning a trip to Machu Picchu to celebrate her birthday – I can’t wait! We also love getting away when we have the opportunity – we try to go to Tahoe and Mammoth as much as we can.

Tell me about your family?
I have a beautiful wife named Kelly, who is a real estate agent in Santa Barbara. We are fortunate to live on the Mesa in downtown Santa Barbara with our 13-year-old son, Evan, and our dog and cat.
