After a decade in the business and growing our company to over 800 employees in three locations, we have not forgotten our roots as a startup with a handful of people, a lot of passion, and a shared goal of success. We remember how difficult those early days were, and for many, that’s the hardest part. That’s why we were thrilled to be a platinum sponsor of Techstars Startup Weekend in our hometown of Santa Barbara, California.
What we enjoyed most about the event was sharing our experiences, challenges, and successes with startups in our community and helping them move in the right direction. Attendees also had the opportunity to connect with our VP of Marketing, Lisa Horner, as she coached them through the ins and outs of marketing strategy and execution for their businesses.
“I had a blast hearing business pitches from local tech startups at Startup Weekend,” said Lisa Horner, “Events like this are critical to the success of our community as a thriving tech hub.”
There’s nothing more inspiring than being immersed in the presence of passionate people, so in addition to helping other businesses navigate their paths to success, we came back with new ideas and excitement for our work.
