AppFolians are encouraged to pursue their professional and personal interests by joining one or more of our employee resource groups and employee-led committees, like the Green Team and the Give Back Committee, creating touchpoints to build engagement and enhance our overall culture.
We also support the creation of employee-led social groups, such as recreational sports teams, book clubs, cooking classes, and gaming clubs, that promote connection, inclusivity, and well-being. Our employees are self-starters, and we work hard to provide an environment primed for collaboration and creativity.

Traditions run deep at AppFolio, so we celebrate everything from product launches to “Appiversaries,” and treat customer successes as our own. We think it’s important to recognize when we’ve accomplished something great together.
Our unique company traditions, such as our milestone oar signings, recognize achievements, nurture creativity, and inspire new ideas and innovation.
Hack Day, for example, is a twice annual event for our Product Development and Engineering teams, and is meant to encourage employees to break out of their day-to-day work and think outside of the box, collaborate with people across the business, and bring an idea to life.
