“In the past year and a half, Structure has grown by about 40%, and that's directly related to the fact that my senior exec team — my CEO, my Leasing Director, my Director of Business Development — doesn’t have to spend more time hunting down answers for owners. When we do have inquiries now, it's very easy. If an owner asks me a question, I can reply, ‘Let me pull up a report real quick,’ and I can answer them in real time, on the phone. That's huge.”

“If I had an issue in my previous software, I'd have to go to a different website, send in a ticket, and I might get an answer by the end of the week. I can't do business that way. If an owner is missing money or can't figure out where his distribution work went, and I'm waiting on somebody to respond to a ticket for days, and it's a random person every time, it just made it impossible. Now I have a support rep that I don't have to spend a half hour every time explaining to them how our business operates.”

“I can have a property manager be on the road, call me, and say, ‘Hey, a vendor said he hasn't gotten paid, and he's wondering what the status is of his check.’ I can look it up, see he needs to approve it, and then send him a link to the invoice within AppFolio. The vendor can get that link from the mobile app, approve it, and I can pay it. That's now a two minute deal. Before, he would've had to get back into the office, log into his software on a computer, approve the bill. With AppFolio, there's just efficiencies everywhere.”
