Flock DC is a family of 5 companies that manages every type of residential real estate, from operating multifamily rentals to helping owners of single family properties maintain their homes so they can focus on living their best lives. Nest, the company’s multifamily arm, manages over one thousand units. Roost, the company’s employee-owned condo association management company, operates about 140 different buildings in the city.

“We had an opportunity to commission a mural from Rose Jaffe. And we knew early we wanted to feature Ruth Bader Ginsburg, a larger-than-life woman. An icon, not only in the nation's capital, but in our country and the world. Once we put the mural up, it became a gathering place. I love hearing how people are interfacing with it. My favorite story involves a resident’s four year old daughter. He told me that her room looks over the mural, and every morning she opens her window and she says, 'good morning, Ruth.’”
