Today’s webinar, Building Profitable Lease Renewal Strategies, featured Jake Durtschi, a property owner whose team manages over 400 rental properties in east Idaho.

Jake covered how building an effective and profitable strategy starts with having the right people on your team. He also dove into why lease renewals are important to reducing turnover and increasing occupancy, which trickles down to other areas like maintenance and marketing.

During the webinar, we asked the audience how they would rate their current lease renewal strategies and the results were eye-opening. Almost 75% of the audience described their strategy as either needing improvement or non-existent. With only 9% believing their strategy is “epic,” it’s clear that there is a lot of room for improvement around lease renewal programs.
